Hitting a progression wall in Aion 2 usually comes down to one thing: Combat Power (CP). If your CP is lagging, you will find yourself locked out of late-game instances or struggling to damage story bosses. Fortunately, boosting your CP efficiently isn't just about throwing money or endless grinding at your gear—it is about knowing which systems give you the best return on investment.
Here is a practical breakdown of how to build up your CP smartly, maximize permanent character systems, and target the right stats.
Smart Gear Progression and Upgrades
One of the biggest mistakes players make early on is sinking all their resources into a single item. If you want to raise your CP quickly and cheaply, you need to spread your upgrades evenly across your equipment.
  • Balance your enhancements: Pushing a single item to +5 is significantly more expensive than leveling up multiple items to +1. Keep your weapon, guards, and basic gear moving up at an even pace to get the most CP for your Kinah and materials.
  • Prioritize PvP accessories: Do not ignore the Battlefield and daily duty missions. The Abyss Points (AP) you earn here should be funneled directly into buying PvP accessories. They are relatively cheap, offer a massive immediate CP boost, and hold excellent long-term value.
  • Skip the lower-tier unique bait: Do not waste your time and resources grinding lower-tier unique gear like Crowd Cave. Instead, take your main story ascension gold weapon and make the direct jump straight to Draft or Drainer (Barma gear). This is the fastest way to punch through the 1600+ CP threshold.
  • Unlock late-game instances: Once you cross the 1650 CP mark, your primary focus should shift to running Transcendence dungeons. Keep pushing until you hit 1800+ CP, which unlocks Vakron’s Sky Island—this is where the fastest power jumps in the entire game happen.

Maximize Permanent Character Systems
Gear changes, but permanent character systems stay with your account forever. Investing time into these mechanics provides a massive baseline of power that makes future gearing much easier.
  • Focus heavily on Devenian Boards: Make sure you are regularly running Sealed Dungeons and completing your Regional Quests to stockpile Devenian points. Use these points to buy Devenian crystals from Shugo rewards. It takes some time, but this system easily grants over 500+ permanent CP in the long run.
  • Hunt down Monolith Feathers: Take some time to explore the main city and collect the feathers scattered around. Investing these into the Monolith secures early skill points and unlocks your Revelation Amulet, giving you a distinct edge early on.
  • Do not sleep on Pantheon Statues: It is easy to ignore the Pantheon statues, frameworks, and colossi, but every piece matters. Even collecting basic green and blue pieces provides stackable passive stat boosts that add up to a noticeable chunk of CP.
  • Build your Wing Collection: Grab every pair of wings you can find from dungeon drops and mission coins. Every single addition to your wing collection permanently increases your baseline flight and combat power, even if you aren't actively wearing them.

Target the Right Stats and Soulbinding
Not all CP is created equal. When you are rerolling or soulbinding your gear, you want to target specific substats that directly translate into actual combat efficiency and high-end DPS.
  • Accuracy is king: This is easily the most vital stat in the game right now. If your attacks are missing, your damage multipliers and critical hits are completely useless. Make sure your accuracy is high enough to consistently land hits on higher-level targets.
  • Roll for Smite: If you want to see your damage numbers skyrocket, target Smite. It triggers double damage and stands as the single strongest DPS multiplier available.
  • Get Combat Speed on gloves: Always look for combat speed on your glove slot. It allows you to cycle through your basic attacks much faster, which directly helps with mana regeneration and fills in the awkward gaps between skill cooldowns.
  • Boost your base damage: For your gold Arcanas and Manastones, focus heavily on weapon damage boosts and critical damage boosts to maximize your overall output.

Daily Routines and Consumables
Consistency is what separates high-CP players from the rest. Setting up a quick daily checklist ensures you never run out of the resources required for high-level enhancement.
  • Max out your limits: Every week, ensure you hit your weekly ticket and Odyelle limits. On a daily basis, make sure to cap out your 1 million Kinah farm and keep up with your soul crystal farming to keep your upgrade funds healthy.
  • Use combat buffs for progression: Do not hoard your consumables. If you are struggling to cross a difficult story boss threshold or a tough dungeon clear, pop your combat scrolls (movement speed, crit, and attack damage) along with high-tier food buffs. They provide the temporary stat padding you need to clear content and unlock better farming zones.

By focusing on even upgrades, hitting your dailies, and prioritizing permanent systems like the Devenian boards, you will see your CP climb steadily without hitting those frustrating progression roadblocks. Keep an eye on your accuracy and smite stats, and you will be clearing late-game dungeons in no time.
